El Camino
Part car, part truck, all Chevrolet. The working classic.
Chevrolet called it "the most beautiful thing that ever shouldered a load" in 1959, and by 1970 it carried the same big-block muscle as the Chevelle it grew from. We forge wheels for the classic that works weekdays and cruises weekends.
The lineup
El Camino Wheels
The El Camino wore whatever the era demanded — full covers over 14-inch steel in '59, the Rally wheel when front discs arrived in '67, then an SS five-spoke that grew from 14×7 to a full 15×7 as the muscle era crested. A working truck with a muscle car's wheel wardrobe. We're forging its next set.
The lineage
What It Rolled On.
- 1959 Covers and finsLaunched on 14-inch steel under full covers, riding 8.00-14 rubber beneath batwing fins.
- 1967 The Rally arrivesThe five-slot Rally wheel came in with the A-body's first front-disc package — the working truck got the muscle line's new shoe.
- 1969 SS five-spokeThe SS package brought its 14×7 five-spoke sport wheel — Chevelle jewelry over a truck bed.
- 1971 Fifteen-inch SSThe SS five-spoke grew to a full 15×7 — GM part 3983045, reproduced to this day.
- Now ForgedForged from one billet, sized to how you actually use it — confirmed with you before machining.

One Car, Many Worlds.
Ask ten El Camino owners what one should be, and you'll get ten answers.
Restomod & Pro-Touring
An LS under the hood, a modern chassis under the bed, and a body Chevrolet never stopped drawing curves into. The premium end of this platform already runs forged — the rest deserves the option.
Muscle & Factory SS
One year of factory SS396, a handful of LS6 454s, and a clone culture nobody apologizes for. The El Camino carries Chevelle muscle with its own paperwork — and its own crown.
Shop Truck & Working Hauler
Chevrolet sold it as the workingest thing on wheels, and plenty still earn their keep — parts runs, honest patina, a bed that gets used. Real wear beats trailer-queen shine here.
Street & Strip
Big-blocks, big-n-littles, and a 12-bolt out back — the El Camino has never been far from a staging lane, and some still tow the race car home. Street manners, strip weekends.
Drivers & Cruisers
The affordable A-body classic you can actually use — make the cruise night, load the swap-meet score, drive it home slow. Most of these live exactly that life.
How Our Wheels Are Made
Forged From a Single Block.
In the 1960s, a wheel left the factory as stamped steel — pressed in pieces, welded together, dressed up with a hubcap. It was the best the era could build. Every VFW wheel starts differently: one solid block of forged aluminum, shaped under pressure and machined to tolerances that didn't exist back then. Same soul. Stronger metal.
-

One Solid Block
Every wheel begins as a single solid billet of 6061-T6 aluminum. No welds, no seams, no separate pieces — the entire wheel is in that block.
-

Forged Under Pressure
A forging press works the billet under thousands of tons of pressure — aligning the metal's grain and closing the voids a casting leaves behind. Heat treatment locks in that strength.
-

Machined to Fit Your Car
CNC machines cut the final form — bolt pattern, backspacing, and profile matched to the fitment we confirm with you first.
-

Finished and Inspected
Balanced, inspected, and finished to order. Then it's crated, insured, and on its way to your garage.
